Instructions for Applicants
Travel Authorisation Services from Experienced Lawyers
At Indiantourists, we specialize in providing seamless travel authorisation services for individuals and groups visiting India. Our service aligns with the Government of India’s digital initiative to enhance international travelers’ experience. This system, known as the e-Authorisation program, includes subcategories such as e-Tourist Authorisation, e-Medical Authorisation, and e-Business Authorisation.
Entry Protocols for Incoming Passengers
All travelers—whether Indian nationals or foreign visitors—arriving by air or sea from countries with active Yellow Fever transmission must carry an official Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate. This requirement applies even if travelers have only transited through an affected area. Children under the age of six months are exempt from this rule.
Travelers unable to present a valid certificate upon arrival in India may be placed under observation in quarantine for a period of up to six days, as a precautionary measure. This protocol is a key step in minimizing the risk of Yellow Fever entering the country.
Recommendations for Outbound Travelers
While India does not mandate Yellow Fever vaccinations for travelers departing to endemic areas, it is strongly advised that individuals visiting such destinations receive the appropriate vaccine before travel. Carrying a valid vaccination certificate not only ensures compliance with the health regulations of the destination country but also offers protection against the disease.
Visa Issuance Policy for Yellow Fever-Endemic Regions
Indian embassies and consulates abroad require proof of Yellow Fever vaccination when processing visa applications for citizens of countries where the disease is endemic. Upon verification, visas will be endorsed with the remark: “Valid Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate Checked.”
